Obviously I still have some work to do on the rebuild but I again lose a machine tonight unless I can come up with a couple bucks to get some coffee heh... I have a whole dollar to my name until friday. This is going to drive me nuts.
I will marry the person that gets this for me. This is the Holy Grail of all box sets.
Will go nicely with my 2nd season of "24" set that I just picked up the other day. :D

SWEET I just secured some contract web design work with dvDETROIT. Thanks Jeremiah, I look forward to doing a lot of work together.
Jeremiah and I are in the beginning of a very interesting relationship here. He has many talents and resources that I need to get some projects done and I for him as well. I see great potential for a massive upheaval of productivity for both of us. OK maybe not MASSIVE but it's going to be a mutually beneficial relationship I'm sure

This is NOT Christmas. This is NOT Yule. This is another day. Stop giving me all the merry Xmas crap. Xmas is in fact a stolen holiday. One of many that the Christian Church has hijacked to suit their own needs. Most likely to subvert Pagan religions.
The Gospel of Luke shows that Jesus was born before the winter season:
{Luke 2:8 "Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night."}
This is also the only account that I can find about the actual time of Christ's birth.
Sheep were not in the field by night in Palestine after the third week of October, conspicuously timed with the Islamic Ramadan.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar during this month Muslims observe the Fast of Ramadan. Lasting for the entire month, Muslims fast during the daylight hours and in the evening eat small meals and visit with friends and family.
Yule was December 21 this year. What is Yule?
Yule is the pagan celebration of the Winter solstice. Yule is also where you get your precious christmas tree. Most people know about, or have at least heard about, the Yule log. This tradition of bringing in a freshly cut log and sprinkling it with mulled wine, oils and salt before lighting was/is to protect house and family from evil spirits. Over time this event evolved into bringing a freshly cut tree and decorating it with candles.
Educate YOURSELVES before you tell me that I am some kind of freak for not caring about this "holy day" it is NOT a holy day in ANY religion. At least none that I know of.
So I will sit back and laugh at the ignorance of the world and declare this the day of Bob Hope. True comic holiday.

I have a couple things to say here. On of which I need some feedback on. First off... Mona IS NOT repeat IS NOT my current. She is old news. Everything is well and good with Brit. But a few have been asking in a panic what the hell happened with Brit. Everything is fine with her.. well.. aside from the distance. But I'll be relieving that problem fairly soon.
#2 I need to know how many of my people are still using a version of Winamp earlier than Winamp 3. I was having a lot of fun working skins for it and might start again. I would do skins for 3 but they are more involved than I have time for. Leave a comment here or if your able to assist with Winamp 3 skins (read: working the xml) then I'll get into those. I'm going to do a few skins for older versions just for the fun of it no matter what the response.

I was just asked an interesting question here at the shop. More interestingly enough. I had an answer for her.
Q: What death most heavily affected you, that was not directly linked to you.
A: Ricky Nelson. Was New Years Eve 1985. I was at Knott's Berry Farm watching a friend's band play. The band, Darrell Mansfield. Darrell went to to the side of the stage and talk to somebody then came to the mic and announced to every that Ricky Nelson had been killed in a plane crash.
Where this affected me was seeing the look on Greg Eckler's (drummer) face. He was noticeably shaken having played drums for Rick in the early 70's. Through his grief he still played on. In fact I think he was inspired by the news because there seemed to be a spark in his game that wasn't there earlier.

So I now have the coast to coast connect feature for nextel (no, you can't have my number)... I'm so screwed. Now I'm going to be hearing from NY all day long every day. Not to mention the other cities that are going to be calling to see how I'm doing here.
I know of 5 other chapter leaders that will be calling on a regular basis to offer their assistance and advice. It is welcomed to be sure. I just hope that it's well timed. Last thing I need is the Top Dog of the group to be callin me while I'm meeting with a city official or something.

Ok they're setting up for karaoke so it's time for me to leave. I refuse to listen to people sing that can't.
This place is in serious need of Avery.

hmm I know I was going to say something but I totally forgot what it was.
I'm having a short bus day

On another note I don't understand something... Now I have to make an admission here... I got played. I admit it. Most likely won't be the last time either. I won't mention her name just yet but I do know that she has come by the site. This is the part that I don't understand. My "girl" is telling several other guys the same things she's telling me. Even when she nearly get's busted in her play she tells all the same thing. Yet I'm supposed to be "more understanding".
Fuck you.
There's a difference between some harmless flirting and making plans for the future with at least 3 other guys. That's simply called being a whore. Read all you like here Mona. But don't even bother trying to contact me again because this is the only response you'll get.

I'm really hoping my schedule mellows out soon... everything has been far too scattered for me.
I go back to my doctor in 2 weeks to start the next run of tests... but at least I go into this run with far more optimism.
I haven't been able to talk to Brit in the past couple days and that's really startin to bug me... ok... it hasn't JUST started. This has been going on since I broke the head on my power supply. I'm going to do all I can now to mellow things out and get back onto a regular schedule.
The interview is what killed me. I had to be at the coffee shop to meet the photographer and because of the nature of the photos I couldn't bring the laptop along to be able to talk to Brit while I was waiting for him. I could sit at the PC that's there and talk but then I have my back to the room and people looking over my shoulder. From a safety standpoint alone I'm not comfortable with that.
I'll get this together eventually.

OK I have news that is going to sicken Lambchop but I am damn excited to hear about this reunion. I will leave the name out until the end of this because I don't want a biased judgement toward him, or me for that matter.
When I hear this guy I think about the power in his voice. Not as versatile as some, but still powerful. He is an excellent song writer. To back this up the band was nominated for the 1990 American Music Awards Best New Heavy Metal Band. They far surpassed platinum on their first release. Yet nobody likes them.
Music he worked on before the band:
1987 - Alice Cooper: "Poison", backing vocals
1987 - Hearts of Fire: Soundtrack, bass and backing vocals
1987 - Blue Yonder: "House of Love", bass
1986 - Fiona: "Beyond the Pale", co-wrote "Tragedy", backing vocals
1986 - Alice Cooper: "Raise Your Fist and Yell", bass and backing vocals, co-wrote "Gail"
1985 - Alice Cooper: "Constrictor", bass and backing vocals
1985 - Kix: "Midnight Dynamite", co-wrote "Bang Bang"
Yet he's not respected.
After XXXXXX broke up he showed great veratility in music, admitedly I haven't listened to a lot of it but what I have heard is a touch of a country influence and even a bit of middle eastern influence.
In 1996 his wife was killed in a single car accident and he had the strength to carry on through the pain.
